PhD Eldi Grubišić Pulišelić

Eldi Grubišić Pulišelić, Ph. D. is a full professor at the Department of German Studies at the Faculty of Humanties and Social Sciences, University of Split. The focus of her scientific interest is primarily German literature of the 19th and 20th century, with special emphasis on women’s literature, as well as on the construction of women’s identity in literature. However, she also deals with authors and topics from Croatian literature. Her papers are published in various reputable academic journals and other publications at home and abroad. She is the author of two scientific monographs (Construction of female identity in German drama. Typification of female characters in the theatrical mirror of the 1870s and 1880s), Leykam international, Zagreb 2013; “The German Turk” Murad Efendi: literature, politics and / or identity, Leykam international, Zagreb, 2019). She is a member of the editorial board of several scientific journals: Mogućnosti, Istraživanja, Educa, and since 2021 of Zbornik Filozofskog fakulteta u Splitu (Journal of Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences in Split). In addition, she has been a member of the board of directors of the Association of Germanists of Southeast Europe (Südosteuropäischer Germanistenverband – SOEGV) since 2018.
